Punk Rock

Why this production

I’m excited by site-specific theatre and the possibilities of making work in public spaces. For Punk Rock, we staged Simon Stephens’s play at Colchester Library with Stage Craft Young Company, keeping tickets affordable and reaching audiences who don’t regularly attend theatre.

The production gave young performers the opportunity to explore an extraordinary play in an unconventional setting, while opening the work to a wider local audience.
